As many of you know, I have been a volunteer and an advocate for Little Brothers Friends (LBFE) of the Elderly for the past 5 years. Our mission is to reduce isolation and loneliness among older adults in the city of San Francisco. We serve people who are over 65 years of age or disabled through outreach, advocacy and companionship. This past year has been so challenging for everyone, especially our seniors that are typically home-bound and rely on visits and companionship from our volunteers.
In lieu of our annual fundraiser, our volunteers and board members are raising funds to be able to support the many programs we offer. For my birthday month this year, I am asking for any amount you are able to give to support Little Brothers. Every dollar allows us to keep our doors open and serve this at risk population.
